• Trust the Dots

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in the future.  You have to trust in something – your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in the world.

    ~ Steve Jobs ~

Love this quote good people! I often talk about the rear view mirror and not looking back. Although this seems to be contradictory to that, it really is different! When you’re doing what you do, at times it makes sense and is very much a logical transition from one thing to the next. Everyone is nodding their collective heads, yep… she’s doing it! Makes sense how she’s going about it. Then you take a sharp left turn… you know it doesn’t necessarily make sense at all but it’s something you’ve always wanted to do and it feels good to do it! It could also be something that you’ve never considered before and you give this new idea some time to make itself known to you. You’re walking in the light of something that gives you this unexpected spark! True, it may not have anything to do with what’s currently on your plate but you are in a tremendous  place of opportunity and not looking to give that up! Cool… don’t do it!

faith_rockWhen you trust your gut… that burning down deep in your spirit that THIS is where you belong… what you’ve been born to do. Have faith, believe, and muster up some courage to continue on!

Those dots will connect themselves. The universe will make sure of it! Know that!

When you are in touch with yourself and following your heart, doing what you were put on this planet to do, you will never work another day in your life.

“There is no greater gift you can give or receive than to honor your calling. It’s why you were born. And how you become most truly alive” ~Oprah Winfrey ~

Talk to me good people! I want to know why you were put on the planet! What’s your passion? Are you allowing the dots to line up or are you getting in your own way?

It’s interesting how you can look back and see the connection. But, while you’re moving forward.. you may feel a bit scatterbrain. That perfect moment, and I’ve have a few, is when you realize that the dots actually connect and form a picture that was inconceivable.

  2. I’m amazed, I must say. Rarely do I encounter a blog that’s
both equally educative and amusing, and without a
doubt, you have hit the nail on the head. The issue is something
that too few folks are speaking intelligently about.

I am very happy I stumbled across this during my hunt for something
    relating to this.
